Document samples for obtaining a Schengen visa
When preparing documents, pay special attention to which financial documents you provide to the Consul for review; the final decision will depend on this. Over time, requirements for documents become stricter, but this does not mean that a visa can no longer be obtained. Invitation
Check with the manager in more detail for a sample invitation depending on the purpose of travel and destination country. Invitations can be guest or from business partners, a registration letter for an event or an invitation from an educational institution. Requirements for invitations differ for each EU country.
Certificate of employment
Issued on the official letterhead of the employer organization. Mandatory information to include: full name, date of employment, position, salary. Travel dates and vacation may be omitted. Certified by the organization's seal and signature, for example, of the manager or accountant. For individual entrepreneurs (IEs) – a record sheet from the entrepreneurs register. For self-employed, a registration certificate.
Bank account statement
A separate document showing the account balance and a separate document with account activity for the last 3 months are required.
